Maxime Chaya, on "expedition mode" again- Rowing the Indian Ocean
From the world’s highest mountain to the high seas, Maxime Chaya and his
crewmates Livar and Stuart decided to go on a once-in-a-life time
adventure- Rowboat the Indian Ocean. Starting from Perth - Australia in
mid-June to reach Mauritius - off the east coast of Africa, the crossing
could take anything from 70 to 95 days. They won't be able to turn back
whatever the reason, as wind and current will prevent it from doing so.

Before the big adventure, Maxime Chaya held  a cocktail gathering on 3rd
of April 2013, which details of the new adventure was shared "Rowing the
Indian Ocean" at ATCL-Jounieh- Lebanon.

Lenovo signs Mindware as Think product distributor
Lenovo has appointed Mindware, one of the Midis Group affiliates, as an
official distributor of its Think product range. The agreement will see
Mindware distribute products such as the ThinkPad Edge and the ThinkPad
Classic for the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.

Midis and Emerson team up for data contras
Midis Group and Emerson Network Power have signed a new strategic agreement
that will focus on data centre and power solutions. The agreement will combine
Emerson’s broad product portfolio with Midis systems integration expertise and
its extensive services team.

The Midis Group affiliate "MDS UAE" took home the award for IT Service Provider of the Year during
the Gitex technology week in Dubai. This event that honours the leaders in the Middle East enterprise
IT sector in the last 12 months recognized world-class projects and implementations, leading vendor
contributions and outstanding individual efforts.
