Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium named as a leading employer in Slovenia for quality of employee relations
The Golden Thread project is a government-approved project to focus on employee wellbeing, development and engagement
Slovenian newspaper, Dnevnik, has unveiled the best employers of the year in the country as part of the ‘Zlata nit’ (Golden Thread) project. Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium has been recognized among the superfinalists and is now ranked in the top three businesses nationally in the small business category.
The Golden Thread project, running now for 17 years, is supported by the Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities in Slovenia and places the relationship between employees and the organisation at the forefront of assessment.
“We are dedicated to the well-being, development and engagement of our employees, but without their commitment, quality work and innovation, achieving our current status would be challenging” remarked Boštjan Kosi, Director, Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium, upon accepting the award.
“This acknowledgment underscores the significance of having the right people by your side on the journey toward accomplishing your objectives. We extend our gratitude to the entire team for their daily contributions in fostering a positive work environment that encourages creativity and collaboration” added Boštjan Kosi.
The results of the survey on the quality of the relationship between employees and the organization serve as a reflection of the company, indicating areas of strength and opportunities for growth. According to the Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium team, assessing this relationship quality has proven to be a highly effective tool for achieving business excellence.
“Employees constitute the heart and soul of our company, playing a pivotal role in our success. Strong interpersonal relationships are of paramount importance to us” said Mitja Podlesnik, Services Director, Hewlett Packard Enterprise operated by Selectium, after the announcement.
“It is important to know that we work in a supportive environment where all employees can feel comfortable, secure, and valued. This generates positive energy and helps to cultivate loyalty. We are thrilled to have been recognized as a progressive, healthy, and successful company through the Golden Thread project” added Mitja Podlesnik.
Thanks to Dnevnik’s Golden Thread project, Slovenia stands as the first country in the world to systematically measure workplace relationship quality. The project aims to identify top Slovenian companies of the 21st century where employees have opportunities to realize their talents and contribute to organizational success. Over just a decade, the project has gone beyond mere recognition of the best Slovenian employers, evolving into an ecosystem unique in Europe that, in collaboration with partners, fosters dynamic economic development.
The common thread among Golden Thread Award recipients is that these companies serve as exemplars, inspiring successful, efficient, and creative development of both their employees and organizations. They serve as guiding lights for others to follow.
The Best Employer award neatly illustrates the close correlation between effective HR management and overall company success. Prioritizing the well-being of all employees not only fuels growth but also drives development and propels success.
