MMR and MDS win prestigious award from SABIC at 2023 Suppliers Recognition Ceremony

SABIC is among the world’s largest petrochemicals manufacturers - MMR and MDS were the only IT group to win award at the Supplier Recognition Ceremony

Mohammed Mansour Rumaih Trading (MMR) and MDS recently won a prestigious Performance award from major Saudi Arabian petrochemical group SABIC at their 2023 Suppliers Recognition Ceremony, held on March 20 at the SABIC Jubail building in Al Jubail – the only IT group to do so.

MMR and MDS are more than just key suppliers to SABIC. Since 2002, the two companies have built and maintained a large proportion of the data centers owned by SABIC and also continue to provide equipment and relevant solutions.

In fact, according to a company spokesman, the relationship with SABIC is thought to go back even further than 2002, into the late 1980s and 1990s. The link with the petrochemical manufacturing group has grown into a vital and continuing business relationship – for the East Region branch of SABIC, MMR and MDS are the most important client, along with ARAMCO.
