Quest Software and One Identity champion Poland’s leading cybersecurity event
Conference addresses compliance with the Polish National Cybersecurity System Act and recent legislative updates
Quest Software and One Identity recently sponsored one of the most important cybersecurity events in Poland: the KSC Forum 2024 in Wisla, Silesia, from August 28 to 30.
The Quest Software and One Identity team present on the company stand were Bartlomiej Jakub Niewiadomski, Channel and Alliances Sales Manager CEE at Quest and One Identity; Nazariusz Faluszewski, Regional Director Poland & Baltics, Quest Software and Marcin Michalewicz, MPM Quest Pre Sales Engineer, CEE, also from Quest.
The conference was focused on meeting the requirements of the Polish National Cybersecurity System Act and recent updates to the Act. According to the website of the organising body, meeting the new provisions of the strategy is proving to be challenging for many public entities in Poland.
Recent changes to Cybersecurity legislation in Poland have made many more public institutions and businesses subject to the requirements of the law. The importance of these issues is demonstrated by the presence of the Polish Ministries of Digital Affairs and Infrastructure as Honorary Patrons at the KSC Forum.
The organisers of the event convened three days of speakers, plenary sessions, workshops and networking meetings with invited representatives of large enterprises and state institutions to discuss security and implementation of the amended legislation.
During the event, 400 participants listened to presentations from 80 speakers. At the end of the event there were guided mountain bike and off-road driving tours of the picturesque Silesian Beskids mountains, close to Wisla town.
